WHO IS JUMP PROFESSORS?

About Jump Professors
Jump Professors was founded in June 2024 by two elite athletes and lifelong students of the sport: Sterling Scott and Mikoy “Jay” Holmes.
We met as high school juniors back in 2022 and quickly connected through our shared love for track & field — especially the jumps. Between us, we have over 10+ years of competition experience, and a deep passion for helping the next generation of athletes maximize their potential.
Our Reach
Since launching, Jump Professors has exploded into a global movement:
-
100+ million views across social media
-
250,000+ followers across all platforms
-
Helping over 100,000 jumpers worldwide
-
Known for high-level coaching, elite training breakdowns, and viral track & field edits
The Origins
Jump Professors originally began with Sterling Scott and Jordan Hartley (J23hart), a New Jersey state champion and early pioneer of track & field edits with massive reach online. The group expanded to include Jay, and together with Jakcob Watts and Kyvon Tatham, they became known as EJC – the Elite Jump Confederation — a crew of elite jumpers dedicated to raising the standard in jumps training and content.

About Sterling Scott
Sterling was one of the top long and triple jumpers in the nation as a high school senior, eventually committing to SEC powerhouse Mizzou. In his freshman year, he became a U20 Pan Am Champion, earned All-American honors indoors, and placed third at SEC Indoors — all while qualifying for Outdoor Nationals.
Sterling is also formerly coached by his father, Andre Scott, a respected coach in the jump world and a former elite jumper himself.
About Mikoy "Jay" Holmes
Jay was a self-taught jumper in high school who built his own training from the ground up. As a freshman, he jumped 48 feet in the triple jump — coaching himself the entire way. Through smart training and a deep understanding of recruiting, he earned opportunities from top-tier programs including Mississippi State, UNC, GCU, and Kentucky before choosing Ole Miss to train under Andre Scott — Sterling’s father and coach.
Jay joined the Jump Professors team in June 2024.
